The Starbuck Dragon Boat Festival

The Starbuck Dragon Boat Festival is unique to the area and the Starbuck Chamber of Commerce expects to draw several hundred people in August.

This event will be two days of fun and entertainment for everyone who visits. Check out the Schedule page for a list of times and events.

Not only will there be dragon boat racing, but the festival activities will include; great food, great music, kids activities, a parade of teams and much, much more for friends and family alike.

The Starbuck Chamber of Commerce will host a 400-meter dragon boat race on the western shores of Lake Minnewaska.

This event is great for family, friends, businesses and reunions. No experience is necessary! It’s the best race of a lifetime!

Dragon Boat = 14-20 paddlers, plus a drummer. Co-ed teams. All equipment is provided. Each team will have at least 3 races.
